EducationMarc received the first of his two Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology from Queens College in 1991. His second Bachelor’s degree is in Drama and Theater in 1993. He received his Juris Doctor from the Florida Coastal School of Law in 2002. Marc graduated at the top of his class and was on the Dean’s List. He Participated in the Chester Bedell Inns of Court, and was one of the first students at his school to win a State-wide Best Individual Appellate Advocate award in Moot Court Competition.

Personal HistoryMarc was born in Brooklyn, New York and graduated from the prestigious Stuyvesant High school. He then graduated with two bachelor degrees from the City University of New York at Queens College in 1993. Marc has been a Florida resident since 1996 and earned his Doctorate of Jurisprudence at Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville. He has represented landlords & tenants, employers & employees, creditors & debtors, husbands & wives, and home builders, buyers and sellers. Marc also represents non-profit organizations, including churches and church-related entities. He has personally handled thousands of civil and criminal cases in both federal and state court and currently serves as lead trial counsel for the firm’s Criminal Defense and Bankruptcy divisions. Marc was admitted pro hac vice to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Georgia.Marc currently specializes in Family & Marital Law, which includes adoptions, divorce, paternity, support and modifications of support and was recently awarded 10 Best Family Law Firms from the American Institute of Legal Counsel. He also specializes in Child Custody, Criminal Defense and Bankruptcy. In addition to Marc’s involvement in professional and community organizations, he and his family are very active in their church.Marc lives in Palm Coast with his wife and has three children.

Community ServiceIn addition to Marc’s involvement in professional organizations, Marc strongly believes in being involved in the community. Marc has served as a volunteer Teen Court Judge in the Flagler and Volusia Counties Teen Court for the past 6 years. He has mentored with the Flagler and Volusia Counties School System and mentored for the Flagler Education Foundation. Marc was involved with the African American Mentorship Program; and has served as a board member/director of the following organizations:Director – Grand Haven Homeowner’s Association, 2006-2008: In this capacity, Marc has had the opportunity to make decisions regarding financial utilization of the community’s association funds, develop & ratify procedures for levying fines. Work on Covenants, Codes, and Restrictions implementation and renovation. Review and interpret Florida Statute 720. Hear appeals from fine committee decisions.Board Director – Flagler and Volusia Counties Human Services Allocation Committee 2005-2008: Marc assisted the County Commissioners in hearing the annual proposals for funding for Flagler and Volusia Counties’s humanitarian, and Community Services organizations. Board responsibilities included analyzing annual proposals based upon criteria which would determine the merits of the organizations, then deciding what funding would be granted for the year based upon those merits.President, Advisory Board – Bethune Cookman University Performing Arts Center 2006-2009: In this capacity Marc Dwyer presided over the board responsible for acquiring funding and talent for the University’s Performing Arts Center. In this capacity Marc Dwyer worked with community leaders from Volusia County in brainstorming, and organizing with a broad based analysis to adding artistic value to the Community.


Rose Bardouille

Practice Manager

Rose Bardouille comes to us from Bank of America where she was an Assistant Vice President and Operations Team Manager with the Default Litigation Group. Currently she is working at the firm as a Paralegal and Case Manager. She has over twenty years of experience as a Paralegal. She has extensive litigation, bankruptcy and default litigation banking experience. She is a member of the National Association of Legal Assistants. She is the current Family Life Director at her church, and is very involved in her church’s Family Life group. In her spare time, she enjoys jogging, mentoring disenfranchised children and travelling with her family


Lani Mott

Legal and Marketing Assistant

Lani Mott worked as an Educator for six years prior to joining Dwyer Law. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Education and has a passion for serving families in her community. Lani joined the firm in July 2020 and currently works as a Legal and Marketing Assistant. She is also an active volunteer at her local church. Lani enjoys singing, fitness, traveling, and spending time with her husband.
